Tax data downloads

Last updated

The 2026 tax figures behind every TaxWren calculator are free to download as CSV and JSON: state income tax rates and brackets for all 50 states and DC, federal tax brackets, state and local sales tax rates, take-home pay by state and state minimum wages. Files we compute ourselves are free to reuse under CC BY 4.0 with a link back to this page; see the license notes below for the rest.

The files are generated from the same data files and tax engine as the calculators each time the site is built, so they always match the numbers on the site. Every change to the underlying figures is listed in the tax law changes log.
