# Embed a take-home pay calculator

Give your readers a 2026 paycheck estimate for any state without leaving your page. Copy one line of HTML; the calculator updates itself every tax year.

## Get the code

HTML to paste into your page<iframe src="https://taxwren.com/embed/take-home" title="Take-home pay calculator by TaxWren" width="100%" height="600" style="max-width:560px;border:0" loading="lazy"></iframe>

## How it works

- Readers enter a salary, state, filing status and pay frequency, and see take-home pay per paycheck and per year, with federal income tax, Social Security and Medicare, and state taxes.
- It uses the same 2026 IRS, SSA and state data as our [take-home pay calculator](/take-home-pay-calculator). How we calculate is on the [methodology page](/methodology).
- The iframe has a `title` for screen readers and `loading="lazy"`, so it costs nothing until a reader scrolls to it. Width adapts up to 560 pixels; 600 pixels of height fits phones.
- No analytics, ads or cookies inside the widget. Keep the "Powered by TaxWren" link; that is the only condition.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is the widget free?

Yes. Paste the code as it is and keep the "Powered by TaxWren" link visible. There is no sign-up and no key.

### Does the widget track my visitors?

No. The embedded page loads no analytics, no ads, no cookies and no third-party scripts. The calculation runs in the visitor's browser and nothing typed into it is sent anywhere.

### Will it stay up to date?

Yes. The widget reads the same tax data as our calculators, so it switches to the new federal and state figures when we publish a new tax year. You never need to change the code.

### Can I preselect a state or salary?

Add ?state= with a two-letter code (for example CA) and &salary= with a yearly amount to the iframe address. The generator above does it for you.
